Little Wing has launched an exciting ‘Get On Yer Bike’ Giveaway in celebration of Bike Week, offering six lucky children the chance to win brand new bikes across each of their six restaurants.

The home grown pizzeria group will give away one bike in each of its restaurants across Northern Ireland. Entry is simple – enjoy a tasty Little Wing pizza in any of the six locations, fill out a ‘Get on Yer Bike’ Giveaway flyer and you’ll be entered into the draw to win. The competition will run for one month, from 15th June - 15th July, with winners being drawn week commencing 18th July. The competition launches on Wednesday 15th June to coincide with Bike to School Day, and is just another example of Little Wing’s continuing dedication to its community and social responsibility.

Commenting on the launch of the competition, Luke Wolsey, Managing Director, Little Wing Pizzeria said:

“Little Wing Pizzeria is always looking for ways to support our local children and their families and we are thrilled to be tying in with Bike Week for the first time.
The bike giveaway is just one way of helping to promote the healthy living message to local children and give something back to our supporters, with Bike Week 2016 being the perfect platform to launch the competition.”

Having recently expanded their digital offering with the release of their first ever mobile game app ‘Little Wing: Wingin’ It’, the pizza restaurant is also gearing up to launch the Little Wing Little Stars bursary scheme for the third year this autumn. This initiative invites children’s clubs within the vicinity of each Little Wing restaurant to apply for bursaries of up to £500. Little Wing is also passionate about its green credentials. The pizzeria chain plants 2,000 trees for every new restaurant it opens, with over 12,000 saplings planted so far, absorbing up to 672,000 lbs of CO2 every year. Further social responsibility initiatives include food waste recycling, with the compost given out in packs with tomato and chilli seeds to encourage little green fingers. The pizzeria also uses local suppliers wherever possible to keep transportation emissions to a minimum.

Luke Wolsey said:

“With six successful branches, we are always looking for new ways to improve our offering and to make a positive contribution within the communities that we operate.”

The Little Wing’s ‘Get on Yer Bike’ Giveaway will run from 15th June to 15th July and is open to all children aged up to 12 years old dining in the restaurants.
